Journey To Heaven

Be kind one to another, Christians

Galatians 6:1
1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
2 Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

How many times have we seen someone stumble and even sometimes fall down. What is our first reaction: it is to help them up and make sure they are alright. Most times when we help them up we go about it very slowly making sure they are not injured.

Why then, brethren, are we most always so quick to judge the spiritually fallen, or the Christian that has stumbled over an obstacle in their walk with God. We should help our fellow Christians get back up gently and comfort them as we are directed to do.

I say to you this: if a saint scorns another saint for a sin committed and not provide guidance through kindness, who is at the greater fault? How many times have we all stumbled or even fallen, did our Father not gently pick us up and help us back to His path, with Grace and Mercy.

 Truth & Understanding

I thought I would share this little email that my darling wife sent me this morning to uplift and encourage me through the glory of Christ.

Philippines 4:13. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

The road to success is not straight. There is a curve called Failure, a loop called Confusion, speed bumps called Friends, red lights called Enemies, caution lights called Family. You will have flats called Jobs. But, if you have a spare called Determination, an engine called Perseverance, insurance called Faith, a driver called Jesus, you will make it to a place called Success.

Make Christ the center of your life, which all things revolve and you cannot fail. Amen

A Prayer for the New Year

O Lord, thank you for delivering us to another year; for allowing us to continue our mission for you in this world. Thank you O Lord for you wisdom and guidance and I pray you continue to bless us with the direction through your truth. O Lord, I pray that you will continue to pour out your spirit as I feel you are preparing your bride to come home. O Lord thank you for all that you are for you make me want to be a better person.

O Lord, consider the lost that will not yield and give us guidance and the strength needed to help them, to let them know that you are the Truth, Resurrection and the light and without you they cannot go to the kingdom of Heaven or see the Father.

O Lord I pray in these last days that you will bless every man woman and child and provide for their every need.

O lord, I pray you will open my eyes so that I only see the truth. O Lord hide me behind the Cross so that I may not be tempted by the ruler of this world, but if I should be tempted, shroud me with your shield of glory and surround me with your heavenly host. Give me strength to fight the good fight.

O Lord, give me strength to pick up your cross and follow you.

May God richly bless you all.

In Christ Jesus I pray; Amen

 Christmas

Wow, I get so frustrated when listening to all to news feeds regarding all the debate of this wonderful season. For those that may have forgotten it is Christmas; the celebration of the birth of Wonderful, Counselor, The Prince of Peace, saviour--Jesus Christ. Those that are of the world insist that it is not fair they should have to hear "Marry Christmas" because it is not politically correct, or because it is not part of their doctrine, or because it offends them. Oh, by the way--these are the same people that have almost removed prayer from our schools and are trying to remove Christianity from any public structure or building. I suppose if we all converted to paganism, there would be no debate. However, if we did and we Christians stomped our feet, it would fall on deaf ears and nothing would be done. In conclusion, (yes, I am going to stop ranting--for now) if our elected officials, school administrators, and even some clergy would stop worrying about their job and what others might think of them and start praying for guidance, (the way our Forefathers did) we would see a lot of these "worldly" issues go away. "In God We Trust" was placed on our currency for a reason. The Ten Commandments were placed on the Supreme Court, for a reason and Prayer in Schools were for a reason. Tim

 Fight the Darkness

In all that we do, if we first seek the Lord's help and guidance we (Christians) will prevail. Satan is allowed to use the weakness in our lives, sometimes to make us stronger in faith. I know that sounds like the typical response, but revisit the Book of Job. God allowed satan to cause much pain and suffering in Job's life and in the end we learn that it all was a lesson of faith and trust in God. Pray to seek your answer, as a Christian you have the armor as described by Paul in Ephesians to protect and care for you through faith from the darkness. This was a comment I posted on another blog and as I read it aloud, I was compelled to post it as a blog. Tim
